On January 1, 2012, the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657) went into effect in the State of California. Under the law, large manufacturers and retailers are required to disclose their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking within their supply chains.
The Sierra Family of Dealerships has never had any indication that any of its suppliers, or anyone in any of their supply chains, is involved in any way in slavery or human trafficking. Sierra does not contract directly with foreign manufacturers or suppliers other than through its principal franchisor: American Honda Corporation. Our efforts to monitor, audit, certify, hold accountable and train participants in that supply train rely on the much more robust and knowledgeable actions of these franchisors.
