Community Involvment

At Sierra Honda, we are active and contributing members of our community. After all, community service is in our Mission Statement, and as such,  we take great personal pride in our commitment to this service.  Check back often to see what Sierra is up to in the San Gabriel Valley. 

Sierra Honda. is a proud sponsor of Foothill Unity Center & Los Angeles Regional Foodbank's 6th Annual HOOP CHALLENGE.  This charity event pits the many of the stars of The Channel 7 News Team against the teams of participating local sponsors including Sierra's own team "Pandamonium".  So come join us for a fun evening of spirited basketball and support a deserving local organization.

The Foothill Unity Center, a non-profit, non-denominational organization, which has distributed more than a million pounds of food to over 2,000 very low-income local families in Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Sierra Madre, Bradbury, Pasadena, South Pasadena and Altadena last year. 70% of its clients are children and seniors. Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is the second largest organization of its kind in the nation. It obtains millions of pounds of surplus food and channels it to hungry and needy people throughout Los Angeles County. Foothill Unity Center is one of the organization's key distribution channels.
